Dreamcatcher's Visit
Last night I woke up with a premonition
the future holds tight based on my decision
Asked the Lord to grant me one more request
And from here on in I'll try to do my best
You see I had a dream that I was once again stuck
Not between a rock and a hard place rather wrong time and bad luck
In it I was caught up in random acts of violence
Don't know how or why, the whole thing played in silence
Found myself trapped in a cell a caged animal again
the pale faces of cops laughed and denounced my sin
I awoke with a start not ashamed to say i was Scared
Before goin to priosn wasn't a proble, m before i never cared
My spiritual advisor, who just happened to be my mom
told me to pray and most of all I must stay strong
So on my knees I went and told the Lord my fears
See all I can do is pray, and hope that he hears
