I'm at a loss right now
stuck in the moment,
all I want is to bring you closer
using my poetry to show it.
I'd claim you from the hightest point
so you'd know where I stand,
I'd cut no corners spare no expense
to finally be your man.
Haters are gonna talk and do thier best
they don't wanna see our smiles,
filling your head with false notions
telling you nothing but lies.
I've never had to be in this position
so for me it's hard,
but I'll continue to do my best
until you let down your guard.
Your aprehension is clear as day
and your reason is just,
I know it's hard for you to believe
and even harder to trust.
But my word is all I have
I could never break it,
my feelings for you are real
I could never fake it.
