Down The Shore Poem by William B. Deutscher

Down The Shore

Rating: 5.0

Summer sun
And fairground turn,
Afternoon edge
On the cusp of a smile.

Feminine drop
In rolling time,
The ocean front
And spots of thunderstorm black.

Horizons fraught
With distant rain,
Nighttime loss
And the sound of the sound of the sea.

I like this turning of events through a moment in time, the crisp imagery, and the alliteration of the last line! This is good, best I have read in some time.
