Deluge Poem by William B. Deutscher

Deluge

Rating: 5.0

Summer's evening storm
Darkens my window
With the close pressure
Of humid air
Cracked by thunder,
Sheared by lightning,
And drenched in sudden,
Rushing rain.

I really like Deluge; the sensory imagery brings it alive. This is the stuff of real poetry. Thank you for writing it! I tire of reading bad poetry. This is good!
