Down The Road Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Down The Road

Down the road
Waiting for the sweet sounds of serenity
The catharsis of this heart
Sparkling vibrantly in euphoria
A rapture of natural inebriation of thoughts
Spiralling down sweetly making magic in this heart
As these eyes surf into the oceans of peeking beauty

As the distance turns to local rejoice
The octaves of your welcoming harmonizes with great reality
No more thinking of what will happen
It all becomes a continual endless adventure
A bevy of directions to go
So much freedom
Peace in the air we both breathe as one

Drunk off hope
High on the evolution that is you
Currents golden in endless motion
Mapping each quest essential
In the spirit and wonder of a cleansing life anew

The future is green
Scenic scenes so surreal
This destination was yours all along

Smell the smells of fragrances anew
Nature's blessings welcome you
Relax, take it all in
If it takes time to comprehend
Then it means you were meant to be here all along

Down the road
Everything will all change for the best
Peaceful proximity
In the dreams we dreamt to finally come true

How does it feel now that everything is all brand new?
Looking at you, Makes me so proud of the view

Down the road
Where shall we go from there?

Down the road
Oh, what a beautiful view!
The view of a happy you!
