Don't Wanna See You Again Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Don't Wanna See You Again

Baby, My well has run dry
there's no longer a flow
for anymore tears to cry
it no longer could go the distance
gas have run out this ride
once upon a time there was joy
Just a girl and a boy
who hit each note so right
but something have come inbetween
to mess up the melody
perfect humans beautifully
A bite of the apple
opened both our eyes
Don't wanna see you again
clock strikes upon the time
hours before this will end
because time after time
I can't find a love
in your heart that beats
Around come the time
I have chosen to leave
Don't wanna see you again
when time flies just wait awhile
and watch the problems pile
it's too much weight to bear
how the hell did we get here?
A question that's stayed on my mind
tried my best to work it out
but all that I've figured out
is that we've wrote on seperate pages
Someday is now to try and escape this
and we can't do nothing about the path
our hearts traveled along to not see it last
Should've known better that better days
were not ahead of us and I won't be mistaken
cause no longer am I taking it no more
