Don'T Sympathise - Poem by Somanathan Iyer

I am not a saint
To renounce the life
I have my desires
That seldom to realize

I am like any one
With lot of hopes
Unlike every one
I dream t them wrong

Sympathy from others
I seldom expect
Deprived chances
I want them back

Life is short
All know well
Luck is selective
Life only tells
