Don'T Need You Anymore

Rating: 5.0

I know i'll get over.
Get over what happened.
Its not the end.
I've got to live on.

So,
i'll move on,
'Cause I've got a long way to go
Won't mess up.
I swear i won't.

I don't need you any more.
To make me smile
To wipe my silver glistening tears
To make me feel secure
To make me fearless as the dragon inside the real me
To encourage me, and say tomorrows a new day
A new, beginning.
To push me that extra mile.
'Cause you aren't my crutch,
Nor the light of my smile.

Yet it feels so void,
so empty inside.
An unfilled voice, I hear
Distant.
Dillusional.

I don't need you any more.
Idon't.

But the same image crops up yet again..
then its gone.
It'll take time.
I know not how long.
I'll get over.
I'll elude.
Over the futile flowery future.
The future I dreamt.
About the future well spent.
