Don'T Jump Poem by Hope Wallin

Don'T Jump

The thunder rolls,
One last breath,
Falling back,
I catch my death.
I stand on the roof,
The air so cold,
I whisper a prayer,
And release my hold.
Bright city lights,
They catch my tears.
With one broken promise,
I release my fears.

Scream into the night,
Calling for you,
These lights in my eyes,
Will not guide me through.
Forced to release my,
Memories of you.
The world down there,
Is hidden from view.
Don't Jump.

My eyes open,
I don't know what for.
The snow starts to fall,
I can't feel any more.
Here in the sky,
Lost in my pain.
Tonight it all ends,
To start over again.

Scream into the night,
Calling for you.
These lights in my eyes,
Will not guide me through.
Forced to release my,
Memories of you.
The world down there,
Is hidden from view.
Don't Jump.

For far too long,
You held me strong.
Come take my hand,
Or leave it to chance.
Don't jump.

Scream into the night,
Calling for you.
These lights in my eyes,
Will not guide me through.
Forced to release my,
Memories of you.
The world down there,
Is hidden from view.
I jump for you.

This is in dedication to a Tokio Hotel song, Don't Jump, which is amazing, and inspirational.
