Don'T Judge Me Poem by Kyrsten Gaddis

Don'T Judge Me

Rating: 4.8

Don't judge me because,
I am different,
Or special.
Don't disrespect me because,
I don't follow your words
Or lie to your face.
Do not judge me
On my looks,
My fails.
For I do not ride on rails.
I ride my own way.
A way no other person chooses.
And if you choose to judge me
Judge me on my
Tries,
And thoughts.
Love me for who I am
And who I plan to be.

Unforunately we live with prejudice, breaking this stigma begins by educating man to be compassionate. By treating someone different as 'invisible' is hurtful, No, it's a sin. To me its like having green eyes not blue, being tall not short..we are all different and that makes the world we live in interesting. Written from the heart - I am deeply touched. - Cindy

This is a very heartfelt and emotional piece, Kyrsten. What you say here in these lines is soooooooooo true. I don't judge people by the way they look, live, talk, walk, or even by the color of their skin, or religious affiliation, nor do I judge anyone for their sexual preferences (as long as they are not child molesters, or other criminal sexual predator) , nor do I judge a person for their sexual identity or even their disability. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing this with us. Love & hugs, Barbara
