Doing The Dance Poem by Debra Miller

Doing The Dance

Dancing upon the shores of my life,
time capsules of sand beneath my feet.
Reaching for daydreams tossed out to sea,
adrift on the waves of torment and strife.
Clouds whisper by offering hope,
bronzed by the warmth of golden sunlight.
Drawing the body of consciousness free,
I dive and resurface a more confident me.
