Doctor L, Making This Poet Feel Valued And Human Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Feeling all the sorrow, sadness, pain, sacrifice and hardship
gone through in the year 2018, now beginning another new year,
finding out that it's more of the same once again.

Taking it all in stride, tears falling, heart being strained
because of the added trauma beginning once again in this New
Year.

Taking a deep breath, getting weekly I.V.'s, Dr. L keeping
this poet alive and still breathing, appreciating him with
this poetical being and hugs from him also.

Making this poet feel like a human being, showing it, keeping
life no matter what may be happening inside this being on any
given day, feeling worth it, thanks to Dr. L.
