Do you remember the day
You told him that you cared
When everything seemed so simple
Do you remember the day
When he told you that he cared
When he asked you to be his bride
Do you remember the day
You told him he was to be a dad
He shouted the bar that night
Do you remember the day
He came home in tears
No you wouldn't
You had already left.
