Do You Care For Me Poem by Mustafa Marconi

Do You Care For Me

Do you care for me?
The way that I care for you
The way the sun nourishes all that is good within me
The way the morning dew invigorates my soul
Do you desire me?
As my heart desires for you
The way my soul implores me to be humble and true
The way my spirit yearns to be enlightened and free
Despite the apprehensions
The fear of loving wrong
Exposing my vulnerabilities
Accepting all of your flaws
Do you appreciate me?
The way I appreciate you
The way I value and cherish a delightful summer breeze
The way I genuinely treasure every moment you spend with me
Thus If you thought of me
A fraction of the way I think about you
I would be on your mind every second of every day
And love would surely blossom
Do you care for me?
The way that I care for you
Do you admire me?
The way I admire you
Do you desire me?
As my heart desires for you
The way my spirit yearns to be enlightened and free
The way my soul implores me to be faithful and true
