Do The Titles Really Matter Poem by Tubby Horse

Do The Titles Really Matter

So you say that you know what i'm going through
Then tell me exactly what i should do
And if you say you can live a whole day in my shoes
Take a step
Just a small one if you choose
To go through all my memories pick and chose
If their good or bad
From a different view

Wake up in the morning in a rundown room
Are you late for school
Well you will be soon
Because your family doesn't care enough to wake you up
Find your mom say 'hi'
She responds 'Shut Up'

All of your sisters
Glare at your hair
Cause your hair is unkempt
But theirs if perfectly fair

They eat all the food
So there is nothing there
For you to eat for breakfast
Now how is that fair

Now your at school
Had to run 2 miles there
While your sisters get driven
By your mom who just cares
About her wonderful daughters
She hates you

You get into class
Out of breath as you gasp
As you see your sisters in beautiful clothes
But how could they afford it
You have old shoes
An old shirt
Some pants covered in dirt

No money for clothes
Your family's does not have money to spare
But they do for you sisters
Now how is that fair

In school you are bullied
Eternally so
They push you around
They tear and your clothes

Now your in your back in your home
Scared and alone
Your sisters with friends
Parents are not home

So you gather a rope
And a chair to stand on
And hang in the air
Now how is that fair

Get out of my shoes
You failed big surprise
So don't say that you know
Just what i should do
