Divine Bird Poem by Somanathan Iyer

Divine Bird

Rating: 4.0

Beyond the reach of every one
in midst of mountains filled with snow
Spread out is a lake far and wide
a site of Gods to bath and stroll
Along with the Gods are privileged Swans
wonders of nature's rarest birds
Amidst the scent of aromatic flowers
the majestic swans glide across
Divine they are with dignified grandeur
causing no ripples on silent waters
Preferring only spring waters
never they opt for anything else
Divinity of theirs appear in their ability
in separating milk mixed with water
Queens they are in the world of birds
teach the beauties to walk with grace
every human dreams and desires
to sight the swan once in life time!

Swans are birds representing beauty and grace. Nicely expressed in the poem.
