Distant Poem by Rebecca Navarre

Distant

Rating: 5.0

Look at the lighting, down the
hall. Watch how time, moves across
the wall. Life, and how it seems to,
have stalled. As tears fall. And the
sounds, of a distant whippoorwill, calls.

The whippoorwill does indeed have a melancholy call, yet he is alive and singing his heart out for all to hear, your poem has the same effect, I really like this poem

I may be slow on the uptake sometimes but I could swear you're going through a period of sad bad days where it is hard to coax the heart to get up. Let love surround you. my gentle friend, and if that doesn't work, let's go kick some beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Even though tis unhappy, this is a 10 poem
