every scar on my arm
every pill that i pop
every drink i consume
is a part of me confused
alone in a place
where light turns to dark
an unfamiliar face
reflected in the glass
who am i
now that im here
without sanity to cover
i pull back my tears
eyes empty of emotions
thoughts clear of hate
in a place where no one knows me
i discovered my fate
a faint liquid crystal
released from my eyes
tells a story
of how hard i tried
to erase all the memories
of what i have become
i want to bleed it out
till my whole bodys numb
guilty knowledge
yet to be discovered
but because of you
my heart will say covered
