Disappeared Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Disappeared

Like a seal,
Like a cat and/or seal
His mustache long conceal
But bush-thicker, loco-thorns

Heat or cold
Silently he sat there
Sculpture was on bench
Bald his head; thick eyebrows
Uneven in his eyes; up and down

He held bag
Food for guests

Then came birds
Sparrows and pigeons
Groundhog and squirrels

Till that day
Absence day
He had died,
Disappeared
