Disappear For Safety
I am going to disappear this year
And forget myself in Fall
I’ll climb into folds of winter
Where I will never hear your call
I will hide in springtime meadows
And descend in Summer streams
I will cower in the forest
Blocking thoughts and hopes and dreams
I am going to disappear this year
Where I never will be found
I will vanish forever
Until you are not around.
