Destiny Denied Poem by Jack Prost

Destiny Denied

Rating: 5.0

Imagination satisfies desires
Lost in the safety of mediocrity.
Excuses ignore nature’s prophecy
Creating illusions of dualism
That masks the reality of unity.
Like fruitless hollies, unfulfilled by separation,
Potential is lost, strength is divided.
Piercing the Taijitu, the two forbid one.

If not in this life, then perhaps the next.
