In Search Of Poem by Jack Prost

In Search Of

Rating: 5.0

Of all the battles that I won or lost
The decisions in life made with great cost
Nothing compares to the feeling of loss
Of not steeling a heart from you

The key to your heart is hidden with care
An intimate place you’re unwilling to share
My journey continues filled with despair
In search of that heart from you

Did you hide your heart to prevent the pain
From love untrue or words spoken in vain
Why can’t you believe that I am the name
That will cherish a heart from you

Your hold on me has never been stronger
My quest for your heart can’t last much longer
Dolor feelings are quenching the hunger
For stealing a heart from you
