Desperation Poem by Mariah Kadesh

Desperation

I'm sleeping, caught up barely breathing,
in a nightmare screaming, an incantation seizing, decieving
Cutting I have surely been there broken bleeding I swear,
just too weak to fight it to hide it,
why did you let me try it?

Cause God I'm crying in desperation after all this contemplation
for my shattered heart's dislocation.
Please take me for consideration,
I have some complications, I want total liberation.
Save me from my soul's disintigration.

I try to wake up,
God why can't you shake up everything in me,
why can't it jsut be easy? ?
But it's not cause I did this to myself, with a little help
I'm scared I'm gonna die I hear you calling as I cry..

I'm pleading in desperation,
God I need your confirmation
You're my last resort its suffocation or salvation.
Save me from this world give me a transformation,
Let your love rain down in drenching precipitation

The enemy is leaving because you kept believing
your presence ever healing,
thank you for your mercy.
As you lift me higher scars burn in a fire of desire,
a love for you.

So here I stand in adoration,
dancing in celebration,
shouting out a declaration,
you are my God.
I sing with all creation.
Take complete control over this situation
I pray with much determination,
reign over this dead nation,
God end this segregation....
....We all sing in desperation.
