Demons Poem by Bryan Seyffert

Demons

In the dark my demons hide
Within my fears they take such pride
Poking holes in my illusion
To my life bring such confusion

Ripping and gnawing at all I built
He tares me down; my demon guilt

Scratching and pawing at my self pride
My demon; doubt in my mind does reside

My demon fear never far away
Whispering doubt in my ear each day

These are my demons I know them well..
Day by day my mind; a living hell
