Demigod Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Demigod

Ideals to have been fictionalized.
And depicted in books and movies,
To have them symbolized.
With the wish of the people,
Seeking a need...
For these ideals to become their reality?
It will be made easy for a demigod to choose.
One who has fraudulently risen,
Representing an image...
Of a false image many will accept.
As the best imitation to pick and select.
Without regard how effective,
Their quality of life and delusions kept...
Will quickly be swept into cesspools.
Done to do to entice,
Division.
Racism.
Conflict and confusion.
Scripted without it edited.
And worshipped by followers,
Of heinous beliefs.
Denying the truth a demigod keeps deceived!
That feeds those of a demonic consciousness.
