Deliver Me Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Deliver Me

Rating: 2.5

Surge of patriotism like a boot
No universals only flags
Ish!

Her nihilistic fingernails scratch
She crashes like a fortuneteller
The crystal ball shows death
Metaphors of storms
Violent orgasms end

He worked until he grew old
For what?
Time is like a vain lover

Paint your coffins of brass
Oxford in stone science
The great clocks
History, entropy

The terrible crows
Deliver me from evil

Deliver Me
