Delirium Of Darkness Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

Delirium Of Darkness

The insomnia strikes again
of demons and dragons
of pouring rain
and shivering nights.

i sit in delirium
through the dead of night
darkness engulfs my faith.

of gods and goddess
and distant planets
none to bring me
any solace
not anymore.

the sweet old memories
of sunshine
and summer
strikes a freezing coldness
at the heart of me.

but old times
are nothing like new.

the new has
a song of its own
the melody
of empty nights
traversing through
distant fields
of darkness.

delirium is the night
joyous it's following
for the darkness
has a sweet madness
just like you and me.
