Death Without Life Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Death Without Life

Rating: 5.0

I suffered a death without life.
You see, anything I wanted I couldn't have.
You see, anything I wanted to see I couldn't.
I suffered a death without life.

I never knew the beauty of a daisy.
I never gazed at the color of a rose.
Somehow all the people's faces eluded me.
I didn't see any of them.

I suffered a death without life.
It was time for me to go,
But I hadn't enjoyed my life.
I suffered a death without life.
