Death, Welcome Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Death, Welcome

Rating: 5.0

Death, welcome
Tuesday,3rd December 2019

Thousands bell ring
and clouds sing
with heavy thunder and rain
there is not let up in pain

window reflects lightening outside
my sub-conscious is becoming silent and unable to decide
what all things are going to happen
before I enter the gates of heaven

everybody is sitting around
knelling down and praying on ground
they all wish "slow and peaceful" death
I see the concern on their face and take heavy breath

is it the final destination?
and end of the human relation!
I find the close relation
between life and death with lots of pain

people say, it is "the pain of thousand of scorpions'
as if biting together the body often
giving so much of pain
draining you out again

I close eyes and wait for death God
to relieve me of the lie's load
to take me distant land
and end this painful journey
