Death Is A Deception Poem by Alex Xhires

Death Is A Deception

I welcome the day,
where my problems are gone,
and I can dance in the rain,
because that is the real way.

When I had it good,
I said death is horrible, such a stench,
When I had it bad, I welcomed such a sentence.

And that is the true reality,
and reality is a dream,
One that we think is here,
but really, it is sitting within us,
Just waiting to disappear.

I have found comfort in the idea of death,
Not because of joy or pain,
Just because it equalizes everything.

And God will judge from his throne,
His righteous ways,
For all of us have sinned,
and we all fall astray.
