Dear Mr. Trump, Tear Down This Wall Of Yours! Poem by Joe Sadeghloo

Lord knows, Mr. Trump,
I do my best to be a hardworking, conscientious, and responsible citizen.
Lord also knows,
I have done my best
not to be naïve, ignoramus, stupid, or a puppet of this or that side!

You see Mr. Trump,
I live where Chicago is the Pumping Heart and my home a Vein close to it
rushing the blood to the lungs, kidneys, the other parts of the body, the other veins...

The nature of my putting bread on the table and having a shelter over my head
makes me to travel all around, of course, close to the Heart and its vicinities...

I have been to the expensive mansions, to the poor apartment complexes, to the boarding houses,
the senior citizens facilities, to the 'Spanish Latino' working class neighborhoods,
and to the 'unsafe' black neighborhoods where there are even iron bars on the entrance doors!
Where the news of innocent people, mostly kids, being gun downed, fills up the local and
national news, almost every other day!

You see Mr. Trump,
It seems, it has been decided by the Brain, to ignore certain parts of the body, the crime
infested neighborhoods! which has resulted in the murder of hundreds and thousands of
innocent people throughout the years! Is this a Cyst or a Tumor? !
Why does the Brian ignore it? !
Do you know why Mr. Trump? Do you think building a WALL will remove the Cyst, the tumor?
Will it cure the disease? !

Mr. Trump,
Do you think your WALL would have prevented The Columbine High School massacre of 1999?
How about the Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre of 2012? You know, there's a long list
of shootings, killings, murders in our schools, shopping centers, movie houses, churches, and etc...,
How about the notorious serial killers like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, David
Berkowitz, list goes on..., do you think, your WALL would have prevented all of the above,
some of the above, none of the above? !

Dear Mr. Trump, If I may,
I reckon none of the above was committed by illegal alien murderers, rapists, arsonists, or terrorists? !
How are you going to build WALLS all over towns and counties, the metropolis mega cities, and the
whole country? !


Mr. Trump,
I have read you are a big employer:
Do you have any idea how many of your employees are illegal aliens-OF COURSE, those who are employed
at home AND not abroad? !
Do you know that we have already WALLS regarding employment of illegal and undocumented workers? !
I THINK, THEY ARE CALLED LABOR CODE LAWS OF THE LAND!

IF YOU ARE AN EMPLOYER, SMALL OR GREAT, AND DISREGARD THE LAWS OF 'NOT HIRING ILLEGAL AND UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS',
BUT YOU DO ANYWAY, BECAUSE YOU WILL SAVE TONS OF MONIES BY EXPLOITING THEM,
GIVING THEM THE LEAST, AND GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THEIR LABOR! (They can't do anything about it! They have no voice! They are ILLEGAL!) . THEN! WHAT KIND OF WALL ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? !

SO, MR. TRUMP TEAR DOWN THIS WALL OF YOURS!
NO WORKER, LEGAL OR ILLEGAL, WILL END UP COMING TO OUR SACRED LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES IF HE OR
SHE IS NOT OFFERED WORK! So! the Ball Is In The Employer's court!
