Dear Mr George W, Let's Be Quite Frank Poem by Old Teenage Poems

Dear Mr George W, Let's Be Quite Frank

Rating: 3.5

According to you,
America is the home of the lord.
So let's think about it...

According to your beloved church,
Adam and Eve got kicked out of paradise
-And thereby abandoned by there God-
for eating an APPLE.

Do you seriously think your God stayes around
When you're bombing innocents?

Just wondering you know...
All my best,
A non-americanized human.

Here's my opinion as an American: Our country has been poorly represented for far too long. I can honestly say America thinks way too highly of itsself. Ever since WW2, we have made it our duty to run the world as we see fit, and since the Bush administration, we don't even have to have evidence of a problem to decide we're going to fix it. I do pray that our next leader in November, whoever it may be, can represent us in a much better way and remove the policies that have made being american something to be ashamed of when traveling internationally.

Hey, we Americans are not proud of him, either (see that 30% approval rating?) . A serpent who slithered in and offered an apple to the 9-11-scared croud. The apple of 'False Knowledge'. Of WMDs and defeating Terrorists. Anyone could see that apple was bruised and had been refused before. But he polished it up so nice that some good, but gullible folks ate it and are still thanking him for it, nodding as they chew away, ignoring the worms and how rotten to the core it really is.. -chuck
