Dear Father Poem by Dredan Brian

Dear Father

Dear father,

The skies are clear
not as pregnant as always,
the birds of the air
wipe out their beaks today
as the sing for you
you're simply undisputable.

You're a misspelt hero
Whose greatness is
Quite hard to pronounce,
Your ever grunting teeth prove
How much mercy you hold within
The muscles of your big heart,
Who can question your portrait?

Papa,
I hold that special spice
That keeps you safe enough
Within the laid spectrum of life,
You're quite a spine in my world
Nothing can question my trust.

Huh,
Feasting not on your laps
But on mama's
Mean not of incapacity
That lives within you,
My young flesh is up
Not blistered because of you.

I may not speak aloud
Of all yours greatness
But yours achievement is electrical
Farming up the my lanes
And creating my world aboard,
Papa, I love you

Dear Father
