Dear Dad Poem by Na. Kwaati

Dear Dad

I'm all grown up now
And it's not tooo late
I'd love to put a smile on your face everyday.
And now I finally understand,
Your famous line
About the day I'd face same in time
Because now I have a life of mine.
And even though I was soo bad
I've learned so much from you.
That day I broke my leg
Stuck to the ground like a peg
I have never felt such pain before
All I could do was cry and look down on the floor
You told me 'son this pain you must fight'
Telling me it will be alright.
I remember
All those days you had to cry
Cuz I told a lie
Well, now it's time to rise
For all those things you've had to sacrifice
I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN
BECAUSE YOU ARE NUMBER ONE

I LOVE YOU DAD
