Dear Affection,

It was great seeing you today,
I hope you had fun too.
I really would have loved to stay -
How quickly the time flew.

I swear that sometimes it has wings...
But oh well; someday soon
We'll walk and talk, about all such things,
Beneath the stars and moon.

Until then it will have to suffice
To say you're a dream come true.
My perfect slice of paradise,
I love you through and through.
