An ode to s’mores
I love them more
Every single day
...

I am writing this here poem
Just to say Thank You.
Thanks so much for everything,
For all you brought me through.
...

If I never see tomorrow please
remember me today.
Please don't let the good things I've
accomplished fade away.
...

His pale face peers down on me as I lie awake in bed.
It's ghostly hue resembles that of those who've been long dead.
I hear the haunting song he sings, a humming whispered low.
His grins and frown fill my wide eyes lit by his soft glow.
...

Alas, my sled has forgotten me.
The slip of the slick sled, indeed,
Lasted but a moment. He'd
Said that his bottom needed some time.
...

He brought me to an empty room, it’s area dimly lit.
Seemingly forgotten, nothing inhabited it.
But, mattered not the lonely state of that room, so bleak,
For now His glory filled it’s midst and He began to speak.
...

I did not see it coming ‘til
It hit me in the face,
It crept up slowly without so much
As leaving any trace.
...

The pool of water calmly waits beneath the darkened sky
Her glassy face sleeps peacefully to a silent lullaby
As black raindrops descend from their dark abode on high
Falling down like painful tears to the place where she now lies
...

I am left lost, forgotten, and alone
Me and my possessions to rust away
Beneath my feet lies a pool of my tears
Reflecting no reflection except that of my own
...

In a far away land sat a small snowy town,
It sat deep in a valley with mountains around.
From the distance you might think this town looked quite quaint,
Indeed, the picture would be a great one to paint.
...

11.

His hand outstretched, and reaching forth,
While, oblivious, I look ahead,
Unaware of the danger or it's source,
Now creeping up like a ghost of dread.
...

Another day come and gone
And still I lie in wait
Awake, I question, how long
To wait until daybreak?

...

Today, every side’s
A water slide.
Today you will get wet
Unless you stay inside.
...

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess
She lived inside the splendid walls of her Father’s grand fortress
Tall and slender, graceful and charming, all looked up to her
Even the strongest of hearts her gentle spirit could conquer
...

Hush child, don't you worry a bit
Keep up those spirits and don't you quit

Hush child, the end of this tunnel's in sight
...

The question haunts me, 'Why God, why? '
Indeed, this dilemma is my worst surprise.
For life held so much 'til happiness was crushed,
Now I wake to sorrow, loneliness, and such.
...

The fire burned hot, and roared in my face
It's heat closed around me like death's embrace
It screamed in my ears, and stung my eyes
To my straining soul, it whispered lies
...

One day the mind approached the heart
and said, 'What do you do?
What makes you so important,
and why do I need you? '
...

Love, here with words, I'll attempt to explain
And, though words often fail, I'll try just the same

One- Love stands directly upon trust
...

Dear Affection,

It was great seeing you today,
I hope you had fun too.

Ode To S'Mores

An ode to s’mores
I love them more
Every single day

Nice and sweet
My favorite treat
I’d eat them anyway

Tasty and yummy
Inside my tummy
Give me more I say

I do adore
My cherished s’mores
I’ll eat them June through May

Soft n fluffy
Big n puffy
They make me want to play

Or when I’m mad
And feeling sad
They chase my clouds away

An ode to s’mores
I want some more
Every single day

If we ran out
I’d have to shout,
“MOM, get some more today! ”
