Feeling soothing rhythms running through this brain,
calming and relaxing, taking mind away from the pain
of surgery.

A wonderful way to deal with pain, no unnecessary
medicines to pollute being, mind and intellect, noth-
ing ever gets to a spiritual interior life at all.

Only the Divine protecting that part of being from
things that would, in the end harm this poet, so
lying back, doing what comes naturally to this poet.
