Amazing light O Summer
Come share your amazing beams
O radiant energy O sunshine
Cover me with your summering gleams;
Splash me into mornings of your sunrise - east
With all of your cool before noon-day
When sweltering heat thus commences
And joy surely finds it's way;
Embrace us in your splendour
Of days spent in your warm afterglow
Bathed in your light - Eternal
'Neath your rays golden-where joy continues to grow;
