Daylilies
Orange daylilies
Pretty but gone overnight
But new blooms next day
I leave a comment, not an opportunity to post my own poetry, your poem is lovely and catches the ever renewing beauty of nature and in this case...the orange day lilies of which I have in my yard...nice work
Thanks for your comment. Life changes in a moment. I lost my son 7 months ago but this poem is about hope and life going on and God's ultimate plan for our lives.
YOUR LILIES ONLY PROVE LIFE IS CYCLIC WE ALL COME FOR A DAY THEN FALL IN THE DOLDRUMS OF TIME None has ever come to stay man or woman nor animal what of a rose a bud a flower all goes even the hot summer then after the refall it snows heaven knows how many inches this winter
