Day At The Beach Poem by Samantha Ridley

Water water all around
lots of beauteful, wonderful sounds
soft wind blowing leaves into the air
soft wind also blowing my hair
suddenly the wind got fast
soaring throught this area so vast
in wafted the smell of food next door
now i wish i had more
im hungry its supper time
having iced tea with lime
with a blanket around my arms
its cold i wish i was back on the farm
behind the clouds you could see the sun
trying to brake through and have some fun
suddenley my eys went blind
the sand and beach the sun did find.
