Dawn And Dusk Poem by Rajagopalan Kumar

Dawn And Dusk

Rating: 5.0

The cold night bids adiew at dawn

Little drops of dew over the lawn

The morning golden sun beam gleams

To sprinkle diamonds on the greens.

At dusk the hot day wanes

Sweet little birds stop their games

The evening golden sun beam dies

To sprinkle diamonds in the skies.

The broad daylight slowly shrinks

The twilight red turns a purple blue

From yonder hills the slow moon grins

Lighted houses suddenly sprout to view.

The moon and night bid earth adieu

Myriad stars shut their winking eyes

Heaven and Earth changeth hue

Carpet welcome the Sun to the skies.
