Darkness Outside My Heart Poem by Raabia Tabassum

Darkness Outside My Heart

Rating: 4.5

Quiet and calm was the place..
Darkness shattered they say.
I had no courage to face..
Shiver me timbers were on my way.

Rudeness towards me by the world..
I had no courage to speak.
To myself it was hard to mould..
And the words that came out weak.

How harder could this get..
Was I to be left like this?
If only someone had I met..
Someone whom I miss.

Experience shall everyone death..
So be prepared at any cost.
Who knows when early one looses breath..
The most precious soul I have lost.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It conveys that if we be all my ourselves then our life becomes quiet and calm but darkness will be all around and then we would never have the courage to face the world because the nervousness will be inside us due to loneliness.

The world would be rude and we would never have the guts to speak in front of the world and if we would try we would stammer and no one would ever know that we even exist.

If we are left like this to stay alone life gets harder to live but if someone was there probably someone we miss. Because they longer are in this world and because of that we've been left alone.

Everyone has to go and shall experience death. Death is not specified. It can occur any time so one must be prepared but now we are alone just cause we have lost the person whom we loved the most.
