Dark Lit Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Dark Lit

Dark lit

Believe me or not
We are blindly caught
In between devil and good
We are scared even from neighbors

It has become unbelievable matter
When such talks can’t cater
Our belief in long run
Sometimes it I said as satire or fun

What is use of such freedom?
When we practice in reality seldom
Our children get no proper education
No scope for two square meal or ration

The poor are suffering
They look at sky and wondering
What kind of heavenly earth is this?
We shall ever miss

In real sense, we are slaves
But fail to behave
In true spirit
And prefer dark lit isolation
