Dancing In The Ghetto Poem by Bilal Khoukhi

Dancing In The Ghetto

Dancing on the sound of nothing
In silence screaming my name
Dancing your way my direction
As if things were still the same

I love how simple your mind is
Reminds me of before you came
A little child that I used to be
I wish things were still the same

The yellow leaves keep falling down
Don't lose hope, they'll grow green
I will be gone, and so is your crown
You wish things were still the same

I sure made a botch of what we had
I am just a human, I feel ashamed
But don't forget you've had a hand
We're both to blame things are not the same

When it rains like it used to rain
I will always go against the grain
dancing away in the distance, I'm insane
Not caring if things will be the same
