Dancers Of The Universe Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

A storied birth
beneath a bright star;
a death that goes unnoticed
in some land afar.

Each serves a purpose
on life’s puzzling stage;
as one story is ending,
the other begins an age.
Dancers of the universe
all part of an unknown plan.

In a time and in a season
with no apparent reason,
the ballerina rises to her toes
lifts her arms and strikes a pose;
and just what it all means
no one really knows.
