Dads Poem by xera mclaughlin

Dads

I know you're not my real dad, and we don't share the same blood but, ever since you met my mom I knew that we really should.
You treat me like your daughter even though i'm not your own, and everytime our family is together I really feel at home.
Look at me and my real dad, it's not the same at all, I really think that if I break he'll just let me fall but, you are really different you make me feel so safe, and even though you're a little over- protective I really like it that way.
You daddy's are so different with the things you say, the way you act, and everything you do, and if I had to pick which one I had to stay with my choice would always be you.
