Cup Of Love Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Cup Of Love

Rating: 5.0

You gave me a cup of love,
when we first hooked up,
but it had a hole in it,
turned it over,
it was empty,
saw you the other night,
I just wanted to hold you,
but you just went out the door,
no time to spend with me,
I only have bitter, sweet tears,
filling that cup of love,
it will never fill up,
with my tears,
just as it never had any love,
from you to me.

WOW this was a kick in the drawers of venom, it seems to me that cup of love went down the tubes, but it provided great imagination to write this lovely confession, mean but true. Sorry for the loss but great stuff
