Crusty Winter Poem by Marilyn Lott

Crusty Winter

The crunch as you step in the snow
Leaves impressions wherever you go.

The air sparkles like diamonds in the sun
As the flakes drift around you one by one.

It's the only time nature spreads a coating of white
And makes the world beneath it so bright.

Grubby and dirty has flown away
In it's place only freshness will lay.

So enjoy this special time my friend
‘Cause Before long it will come to an end.
