Crushed Poem by Wendelin Weird

Crushed

Rating: 3.0

The hope that wakes me up
The eyes that make my heart race
The smile that is ever so contagous
The name that makes my thoughts drift to day dreams
The laughter I crave to hear
The voice that sends chills through my veins
The futile atempts to impress you
The emotions I try to lock up
The feeling I pretend i never felt
The face I yearn to see
The estatic feeling when I see you
The affinity I feel towards you
The desire to be held in your arms
The dreams that mutate into sleepless nights
The horror of you leaving
The tears I cry in vain
The realization that it will never be more than a fantasy
The tear that slowly fade away into nothingness
Depresion remains the only one embracing me
You will always be a part of my broken heart

Jen; How disheartening to lose a loved one, keep writing, if not only for your therapy for depression Peace Matt
