The feelings that overwhelm me
The mixture of hate, love, sorrow, and happiness
How can people stand emotions
They cause you too smile,
only to once again frown when engulfed in depression
They cause the tears,
that roll down your face so often
you hardly notice they are there
They give you laughter
which gets choked back with tears
They show you a glimpse of love
only to reveal what will never be.
They fill your life with compilcations
Impossilbe to eradicate from your thoughts
Emotions remain a weed in the world
winding their way into your life
waitting, just waitting for the perfect time
to deliver the last fatal blow
